People like to say ‘but you look fine ‘ when they see me and I am not actively crying. What don’t people get about a MENTAL disease? You can’t see it like if I had a cold. People with anxiety and depression appear fine until they can not physically hold themselves together any more. I am blunt with people. It is not acceptable to say that I can’t be anxious because I look okay. Ummmm… You can’t see what is going on in my head. It is hard to put into words how you feel. It isn’t logical either. I know it is irrational, but that doesn’t make the anxiety go away. It doesn’t lessen the paranoia, depression, or spirling out. I am open and anyone who knows me at all knows I have anxiety. It explains a lot of the weird quirks I have. When open about it accepting it helps weed out those who refuse to try to understand my disease.

Now please enjoy this adorable picture of my rabbit.
