Talking in the phone is terrifying 90% of the time. There is the rare occasion where I call someone just to talk, but for the most part the telephone is terrifying. I cry and start having a panic attack. This makes it hard for me to call or take calls about me getting help. I do answer when it is a unknown number during 9-5 because chances are it is one of my Drs, specialists, or it is the government looking for information on my disability request.
The problem is I need to call them so it takes me days to work up the ability to do so, then I start crying get confused and let that be that. Then I realize I need to call again, or something doesn’t arrive on time. It is very stressful and they don’t make it at all easy for people with anxiety. I can however text more than talk. But even that is hard sometimes.
